How to edit a file?

For your convenience we offer 3 different file editors. They are accessible both from the file manager toolbar and from the right-click context menus.

  1. Plain Text Editor – opens the selected file in a plain text editor like NotePad or TextPad. Accessible from the “Edit” button in the toolbar and from the “Plain Text Editor” button in the right-click context menu.
  2. Code Editor – this is a text editor tool designed specifically for editing the source code of your files. Accessible from the “Code Editor” button in the toolbar and from the “Code Editor” button in the right-click context menu.
  3. WYSIWYG Editor – this is the so called “What You See Is What You Get” editor where the content is displayed during editing and that allows files editor to easily apply advanced formatting to the file text. Accessible from the “WYSIWYG Editor” button in the toolbar and from the “WYSIWYG Editor” button in the right-click context menu.
